I'm James, I'm 15 and I'm a volunteer for GRIN Campaign.  For the last few months there has been talk among the GRIN Campaign team of "Project: James Interviews" and before this takes place, I thought I'd give you a little heads up.

Firstly, I'm "James" and I shall be doing the interviewing.  The project aims to ask the questions that you want to know the answers to.  For example, I may write blogs or make short YouTube videos featuring interviews with anyone and everyone about topics that really matter to us.  This could range from what an important education official really makes of bullying, to the preferred television program of charity founders!

Charities are often seen as mechanised organisations with a lack of humanity, but James Interviews hopes to prove that they're not, that each and every person really does care about the cause, that each and every person that makes up a charity or campaign is human just like you or I.

This project is very much in its early stages and just starting to progress, but brace yourselves, this could get very exciting!

But before I start, I thought it only seemed right that I interviewed myself, seeing as you'll have to trust me as your interviewer!

Name: James Le Meur

Age: 15

Part of the GRIN team since: 2011

10 Random Questions:

1) Why did you start volunteering and campaigning?

I started because I do not want anyone else to feel the way I felt when I was bullied.  Plus, I feel that no matter who you are; gay, bisexual, lesbian, transgender or just different, you should not be bullied for it.  I guess you could say that I joined GRIN Campaign because I agree with the cause.

2) What do you think of bullying?

Well, I experienced physical bullying, so I'll tell you how it made me feel.  I felt so insecure.  I told one of the teachers but they did nothing, I then stopped talking to anyone about it.  It got worse and worse, then I told my Mum and she sorted it out.  After I felt stupid for not saying anything to my parents first.

Just remember to not let it get to the point where you no longer feel in control.

3) Did you experience bullying while you were at school?

Yes, physical bullying when I was about 10 years old.  It lasted for around a year or two but I try not to remember it.

4) What do you think of the work that GRIN Campaign is doing?

I think it's fantastic!  The cause is brilliant and hopefully one day what GRIN is working for will come true: no bullying.

5) Some schools aren't pro-active on fighting bullying, what do you make of this?

Aren't pro-active, how can they not be pro-active?!

Well, I can just about justify it if its the classroom teachers because that might be the norm in some schools, but if the head teachers aren't, then it's just shameful.  No, no I can't justify it at all, this is one issue I think needs to be changed in all schools, making all members of staff pro-active in the fight against bullying and discrimination.

6) Getting more personal now, if you won the lottery, what is the most extravagant thing you'd buy for yourself?

Well, if that happens, I will put 30% of the money into GRIN then the rest into a back account until it is needed.  Of corse, I'd do the same as everyone else, go on holiday with the money and all the rest.

7) Best moment of 2012 thus far?

The best moment, hmm, this is a hard one.  Probably has to be asking and being accepted to be someones boyfriend.

8) Music guilty pleasure?

Well, they're a metal band called "Cold", my favourite song is probably "Suffocate".

9) Mac or PC?

I have a PC laptop and my mother has a Mac.  I like both, so, I guess I'm neutral in this infamous debate!

10) Aim for the future?

Lots of things!

So, now you've met me, I feel you need to meet the rest of the GRIN Campaign team.  Keep posted for more interviews!
